One of the simplest yet most powerful forms
of accountability is the use of an internet filter to protect
you, your family, and your friends from pornography and many other
dangers on the internet. The easy access to pornography
on the internet is frightening! All you have to do is simply type
an internet address and you're there; this convenience factor
magnifys the power of fleeting thoughts and lowers the threshold
of crossing the boundry between thoughts and actions (actually
viewing pornorgraphy), which in turn pushes you closer to acting
out the things you see in the pornography. Satan is the master
of luring us down the road of one seemingly harmless sin which
leads to another and to another...until you are in way over your
head!

Remember, we're simply dealing with our
flesh here. "The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak..."
(Matthew 26:41) Your true identity is your spirit, and
now you must follow Christ and drag the desires of your flesh
to the cross. Christ gave us the example to follow. His hands
and feet were nailed to the cross so that we could nail the hands
and feet of our sinful desires to the cross. He was resurrected
to new life so that we could experience new life after we crucify
our flesh. (Romans 6:5-11)
